M1 Carbine Leather Scabbard

This holster is a very high quality, genuine leather scabbard for the WWII era Carbine rifles used with horses, jeeps and other military vehicles. An offshoot of the 1870’s Winchester saddle carbine scabbards, these were termed the M-1938 and used to protect the weapons and to have them at hand for immediate use. Fitted with the original early style, steel cocking handle cover, these make great display items and come complete with all straps and brass hardware.
