The Bardiche was a favorite battle axe used in Russia, Scandinavia and most of Eastern Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries. The blades of the Bardiche varied greatly in shape, but were most often were shaped as a cleaver.
Each piece is fully functional, battle ready and will perform just as well as the originals. European groups have been using these axes in live steel/re-enactments for years.
