This crescent-shaped LARP shield takes inspiration from the pelte shields used by light infantry in ancient Greece. One side has a hammered metal finish while the other is smooth and dark. Rusty effects and triangular rivets along the edges give it a well-used, reinforced appearance from scavenged materials. Two top corner rings add distinguishing character.

The pelte was a crescent or half-moon shaped shield originating in the Thrace and Paeonia regions of ancient Greece. These wicker shields covered in goat or sheep skin were the main protection for light infantry troops known as peltasts.
