German M42 Helmet 3 Color Camouflage Pattern - WWII
Introducing the German M42 Infantry Steel Helmet in the 3 Color Camouflage Pattern - a replica of the WWII-era helmet used during the Normandy campaign. While there was no specific way to paint the pattern, these three colors were commonly seen on helmets and equipment during that time.
This M42 model boasts a "raw edge" rim, omitting the rolling or crimping procedure used on earlier helmets as a cost-saving measure. The two vents also replicate the outwardly embossed vents that replaced the insert-able vent rivets of earlier models.
Included in the package are a leather liner with the correct metal crown held in place by three split pins, a leather chinstrap, and a metal shell with two vent holes and a raw edge. The interior is stamped with the manufacturer's four-digit code and the shell and liner size, as well as the chinstrap stamped with the maker and Berlin. This helmet is available in four sizes: 56cm, 58cm, 60cm, and 62cm.
Experience a piece of history with this German infantry helmet replica, complete with a 3 Color Camouflage Pattern. With its accurate details and features, this M42 model helmet is an excellent addition to any military history enthusiast's collection.
