1st Century Tin-Plated Mainz Balteus - Roman Belt

This adjustable Roman Balteus with Tassets is constructed from thick leather and its fittings are tin-plated brass. The swivel rondels can be used to anchor a Pugio dagger into place. The tassets with tin-plated medallions can be placed onto or removed from the belt as desired. The belt is backed in suede leather to protect a tunic from catching onto the many rivets used for the belt fittings.
