Leather Tassets Thigh Armor

These leather tassets are crafted in a 15th century design. They provide armor to the top of the thigh and were traditionally hung from the fauld of the breastplate with straps to cover the gap between the cuisses and breastplate. These sturdy leather tassets come with adjustable straps to allow you to hang from a waist belt, independent of the breastplate. Available in a wide variety of colors and made from high quality 13-15 oz leather. Optional decorative overlays are available. Sold as a pair, belt and other items not included.
