Roman Scutum Steel

The Scutum was carried by Roman soldiers from 100 A.D. onward. These large size Steel Roman Scutums have a large riveted steel boss for hand protection. The core of our Roman Shield is made of 18 gauge steel, and then painted. Steel Hand grip is has wood halves to improve grip.

Each shield is individually hand painted.
