The Sallet Helm or Salade was popular across much of Europe throughout the second half of the 15th century. The reconstruction of this Medieval Sallet Helmet features a moveable Visor (introduced late in the period to improve visibility). The Sallet Helmet is crafted in 14 gauge steel and is fully wearable with an adjustable leather liner and chinstrap. Excellent head protection for the weapons contact re-enactor.
