Jack chains were an important part of the protective equipment of the medieval foot soldier who, typically, wore a padded arming jacket (jack) to protect his upper body with tied-on Jack Chains to protect the arms from slashing cuts. Our Jack Chains are crafted in 14 gauge steel with a full elbow plate. Our Gambeson for Jack Chains is an Arming Jacket with leather ties to attach the 29-AB2729 Jack Chains.
