This medieval jacket is a Gambeson or Arming Jacket for use with Jack Chains, a Sallet Helmet, Gauntlets and Glaive polearm and reproduced from museum originals. This Arming Jacket is provided with leather arm ties for attaching our 29-AB2729 Jack Chains Armor and has leather-tie closures with leather reinforced eyelets. Crafted in heavy-duty padded canvas, the Gambeson for Jack Chains has excellent blow-absorbing properties when worn separately and provides superior protection from cuts when worn under chainmail or plate armor.
