I've been wearing patrol caps for the past 10 years, but have only been in the Army for about 1... Current policy dictates that you cannot mix uniform items with non-uniform, or mix uniform with uniform (i.e. you cannot wear your issued ACU pattern PC with civilian attire)...
Since this PC is not issue nor uniform, I can still wear a PC around base, even in civilian clothes!! Plus, everyone rants and raves about how awesome the pattern is!! You cannot see it in the picture, but there is a more vibrant blue/green, and black.
Unfortunately made in China, it does have a NATO-style tag, which makes me wonder if it is IR-compliant or not.
Still, the BEST PC ever!!
