Our US GI Pup Tent or Shelter Half was the basic unit of shelter in the field for the U.S. Army as far back as the Civil War. This two-man pup tent is made up of two shelter half pieces that fasten together with a row of snaps along the ridge and, with ropes, poles and stakes, make one pup tent. Our Pup Tent includes 2 shelter halves, ropes and stakes. The shelter half is approximately 7' long by 5' wide.
