Our Practical Damascus Katana is the first in our new line of Practical Japanese Swords with real Damascus blades. Our Damascus Katana is a practical and economical sword that can be used in tatami cutting practice. This fully functional razor sharp Katana comes with a full tang construction made from 7 layers of hand forged 1095 Damascus steel (HRC60 edge, HRC40 back). The Practical Damascus Katana features a genuine Same (Rayskin) on the Tsuka, with a tightly-woven cotton blood red wrap (Tsuka-Ito). Includes a black lacquered saya (scabbard), cloth sword bag, lined wooden storage case and maintenance kit.
