The Bardiche, or long pole axe, is a type of medieval polearm used in medieval and renaissance Europe. The blades of the Bardiche varied greatly in shape, but were most often were shaped as a cleaver. Our hand forged carbon steel Bardiche blade is attached to the pole with one socket at the top and a surface mount at the base of the hardwood (Sisau) shaft.
