This Venetian Medieval Fauchard is a medieval polearm or Glaive from around 1500. Our Venetian Medieval Fauchard is made from hand forged carbon steel and is attached to the hardwood shaft with a socket at the top. The Fauchard includes langets which are narrow metal strips that protect the head of the polearm from being cut off at the shaft in combat.
