The Battle Bardiche was a favorite battle axe used in Russia, Scandinavia and most of Eastern Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries. The blades of the Bardiche varied greatly in shape, but were most often were shaped as a cleaver. Our hand forged carbon steel Battle Bardiche blade is attached to the pole with one socket at the top and a surface mount at the base of the hardwood shaft. Head is 27 3/4" and Pole is 42"
