15th century design. Our Leather Tassets provide a leather armor defense for the top of the thigh. Traditionally hung from the fauld of the breastplate with straps to cover the gap between the cuisses and breastplate. These sturdy leather tassets come with adjustable straps to allow you to hang from a waist belt, independent of the breastplate.

Available in a wide variety of colors. Made from high quality 13-15 oz leather. They're great for LARP and SCA combat. Optional decorative overlays are available. The belt and other items are not included. Sold as a Pair.

Most of our leather Armour is made from natural un-dyed cowhides. Each hide comes in a different shade of natural leather; some are very light, others are very dark. This affects the color, as well as how much dye the hide will accept. Even your computer screen will vary the colors of our sample pictures.
