Leather Scale Armor Cuirass

Similar in design and function to a Roman Lorica, our Leather Scale Armor Cuirass with breast and back-plate provides ease of movement while still protecting your upper body and shoulders. Designed to be open at the sides it has an adjustable side strap closure and for extra protection can be worn with our 8" high kidney belt. Includes a pair of small scaled tassets.

Made from your choice of either 13-15oz Armor leather or lighter 8-10oz LARP grade leather. Comes with all quality leather straps and buckles. Available in a wide variety of colors. Leather Pauldrons and leather gorgets sold separately. Great for LARP and SCA combat.

Most of our leather Armour is made from natural un-dyed cowhides. Each hide comes in a different shade of natural leather; some are very light, others are very dark. This affects the color, as well as how much dye the hide will accept. Even your computer screen will vary the colors of our sample pictures.
