Last Legend Swords Ref: 4351 Last Legend designs their instruments to withstand the rigors of Steel to Steel and Goza competition (cutting rolled mats) with design standards and precision never before included in production blades. We stand behind these products, or as our customers state "battle ready without compromise". Last Legend has been working overtime in designing and testing new prototypes, with more new and exciting families coming in 2002.
All Last Legend products are hand made, forged, and tempered. All blades and other metal parts are made from a modified 1060 carbon steel, and joined with extremely tight tolerances. Parts such as pommels and guards are made of solid forged steel billets (not hollow cast). All blades pass through a patent pending channel design that prevents guard or pommel spin if stuck by a power blow. All swords and daggers have a 2" to 4" Ricasso (a non- sharpened thick part of the blade edge extending from the guard area). This feature adds extreme strength to the critical blade base. All tangs are a continuation of the blade that runs completely through the handle and connects to the pommel. Although they are historically correct in appearance, specifications were set to produce a sword that could withstand the rigours of steel to steel and not produce a failure. Failure is not an option with Last Legend Competition Blades, our customers depend on it. All blades are shipped edge sharp for level four competition (Sword ((Steel-Sharp)) & Shield).
