15th Century Surcoat

The 15th Century saw many changes in the form of defensive armour and costume. One change was in the form of the surcoat, which was made shorter than previous centuries. The later part of the century added short sleeves to this surcoat and became a tabbard, usually bearing the arms of the knight.

Our Surcoat is made from 100% cotton twill and offers open sides, black trim and a black fluer de lis on the front and back. Machine Washable. Made in the USA.
